On Saturday, November 8th, 2008, The Bat City Diecast Collectors will hold their 2008 picnic. The picnic will be held at Bull Branch Park in Taylor, Texas. Activites will include: Kids and Adults Downhill race, Sizzler race, Kids coloring contest, food, trading and a raffle. We will start setting up at dawn in the pavilion. Activities will begin with the kids race at 11:00, followed by the Adult downhill, lunch, Sizzler races and then the raffle. .

The Bat is Back!

We are now meeting regularly at the Super 8 at 8128 N IH 35 on the second Saturday of every month, unless otherwise noted. The room is on the first floor to the left as you pass the lobby. If you happen to be traveling to the area when we have a meeting or event scheduled, come on by. If you live in or around Austin and are interested in joining fellow collectors for die-cast trading and selling, and various other club activities, please don’t hesitate to email Bob at BatCityHWC@austin.rr.com. The next meeting will be held on Novemter 8th, 2008. Set up starts at 8:00 am and the meeting usually gets started between 10:00 and 10:30

South Texas Diecast Club 2008 Picnic October 25th

On Saturday October 25th, South Texas will be meeting at the Texas Hot Wheels Collectors Picnic in New Braunfels, Texas at Landa Park. We will be at pavillion #7a. The fun starts at 10:00am and will last until about 6:00PM or so. Click here for detail and a map.

The club-- Based in Austin, Texas. Meetings are now held on the 2nd Saturday of each month. The purpose of the meeting is to welcome new members, communicate the latest Hot Wheels news, and provide an open forum for questions and answers. Before and after each meeting, the club participates in a buying/trading/selling session. The purpose of this session is to help out fellow collectors acquire diecast related items for their collections, and to give collectors a place to sell or trade their unwanted or unneeded diecast items.
